Arya giggled and put her hands on her knees, bending forward to take a closer look at his tutu, "the badgers seem to be dancing as well," Arya said and tried to sit on the floor, but complications of her outfit would not allow that so she remained to kneel.

Cedric laughed and poked at the bubbles her outfit consisted of, "Amazing, they don't pop. How can you kneel in that? It looks so... so unmanageable." He continued to poke and prod at the plastic, going as far as making faces at his own reflection.

Arya looked down at the bubbles and tried poking them. "Honestly..." Arya paused. Either she could look cool and say she knew the magic, or admit that she had no clue how they became and she meant for them to be real bubbles. Well... she learned her mistake from lying and told the truth. "I have no idea," Arya giggled, "I wanted them to be real bubbles but I guess I messed up."

Cedric grinned and prodded them again, "I like these better. That way you can dance around and they won't go disappearing on you so you don't have to recast them." They were really neat and reflected rainbow colors just like a real bubble would. They just didn't pop.

Arya stood up and tried to get a better view of her creation, "well, I guess we have to enjoy the dress while we can. I don't know what I did to make the bubbles this way," Arya giggled and looked at all of her reflections in the bubbles.

"Oh of course," Arya said, "now if I was a Slytherin girl, I would say," Arya tried to change her voice, one that sounded pompous, "they are all gazing back at my beauty," her voice went back to normal, "or something."

Cedric snorted with laughter and covered his mouth, "Oh bullocks, I snorted like a pig." He started to laugh again, falling over onto his side when he replayed Arya's imitation of a slytherin girl.

Arya giggled which turned into a laugh when Cedric snorted. She smiled at him and tilted her head. Whenever Cedric smiled her heart melted. "Cedric," Arya could feel hear her heartbeat, "can I ask you something?" Arya bit her bottom lip. There was no turning back.

Arya stood up straight and stared at his tutu but shook the image off and looked up at Cedric. "Cedric." Arya's palms started to sweat and her throat started to tighten. 'Oh Merlin I can't believe I'm doing this...' Arya thought. She took a deep breath, "Cedric, will you go out with me?" Arya asked and grinned, feeling pretty good about herself, "we don't have to do anything fancy, just fly on our broom sticks and eat lunch up in the air or something," Arya suggested.

Cedric felt all of his feelings halt and the world seemed to stop to wait for his answer. He loved Arya, yes, but he couldn't do this when his heart was elsewhere. His heart was with Cho and for Cho. "Arya, you're a great girl and all but... but I can't. I love you like I do a sister and- I'm sorry." He let his hands fall to his sides in a defeated manner, hoping this didn't change a lot between them.

Arya's grinned disappeared when Cedric started to talk. Her heart was sucked up by a black whole and her stomach started to eat itself. The bubbles on her dress started to pop and Arya tried to fight back tears from the denial. Maybe she shouldn't of said anything and just lie to herself. Being honest with herself and others got her nowhere. "I- I just remembered that I left my telescope.. somewhere," Arya bit her lip to prevent from huffing but she couldn't stop herself. Arya sobbed and exited through a tunnel where she ran off in any direction she chose at random. A bubble was left behind at Cedric's foot, which popped as soon as Arya left.

Cedric turned when Arya ran out and tried to grab her, "Arya! Wait! Arya- come back, please!" He wouldn't know where to look for her now, and not at this time of night or day, whatever it was. He sat down as defeated as he had felt when he was answering and let his head drop into his hands.

Cassie came in and took a seat in the common room wondering where everyone had gotten to. She sat with her legs tucked under her, humming to herself and reading a good book.
