Arya walked down the stairs and saw Oliver waiting by the stairs. She smiled and waved to him, "hello, Oliver!" she exclaimed and walked passed him to sit on the couch. "Are you waiting for someone?"

Oliver smiled at Arya and followed her suit. He leaped to lay on the remaining space available on the couch. "Actually, I was waiting for you," he said.

"Aww, you are too kind, Oli," Arya stuck her tongue out at him, finding his words and reasons so cheesy. "And why were you waiting for me?"

"Hmm, cheesy is good," he said randomly. "Well, I just went to the Headmaster last night and told him about my... dilemma."

Arya's facial expression changed. Her looks went from playful to serious, including her tone of her voice. "What did he say?" she asked, "how did the Headmaster take it?"

"It was totally nerve-wracking," he said dragging his hands on his face. "But he didn't interrupt me the whole time. I didn't want to see him after I told what happened but he just said that he understood and that he would undoubtedly allow me to visit my son," he ended with a smile at the memory on how incredible the man was. He sat up excitedly and held Arya on her shoulders, "He even asked me if I wanted Healers to look out for my kid, amazing eh? I expected him to expel me or something."

Arya listened and her lips curled to a smile. "That's excellent, Oliver! The Headmaster is a very understanding man, I don't think he would expel you for what you do outside of school campus that don't involve this world," she said, reaching over to pat her friend on the head. "Are you going to bring your son over here? Wont that cause.. somewhat of a ruckus?"

Oliver stared at her for a moment. He never really thought about that part. "I haven't said yes yet anyway...I don't know. What do you think? Should I take him here?" he asked her.

Arya's eyes focused on the floor before looking back at Oliver. She bit her lips. "I... I don't know," she said, "what about... his mom? What will she think? Or her parents, or your parents?" Arya asked. " I mean... medicine here, is no doubt much more effective and better than back at home," her voice got quiet, "whatever you think would be best for your son. I don't think I have a strong say in this, Oliver..."

"Hmm," he wondered. She was right, Oliver had a lot to risk when he brings his son over to this world. "Bah, forget it for now," he said waving his arm infront of him. "I'll owl mum and dad later and tell them. For now I want to ask you where did you get the guts to sign up for the Beater position?" he questioned her with a raised eyebrow.

Arya laughed sheepishly when Oliver brought up the beater position. She brushed some of her hair behind her ears as her face flushed. "I... I love beaters," she said, looking up at Oliver, "I love being a beater in quidditch. I may be small and frail, but I can balance on a broom stick, I can whack a 16-ton ball, or however big it is. I'm a strong girl, Oli," she pointed her finger at Oli's nose, "and if you have doubts about me playing as that, that isn't very nice," she said in a sing song voice.

This time, both of his eyebrows disappeared beneath his wayward fringes. "Love beaters? Who in particular?" he asked. He made a mental note to check the other houses' Beaters. "Oh-ho," he said in a chuckle, "I most certainly know you can whack that hard. You punch totally not like a girl," he said as he remembered the times she used to hit him playfully. "But just to be sure... I've listed myself as a Beater too. Despite the fact that I am terrible on a broom floating higher than 50 feet from the ground," he said with a shudder.

Arya shook her head, "oh, not who in particular if you were thinking about a guy!" Arya exclaimed, " more like... my heroes! Like, Gwenog Jones from the Holyhead Harpies! She is the most famous female beater out there, I hope to be just like her one day! Not... just like her, but successful, like her," she corrected herself. She tilted her head when Oliver said he applied for beater, "but.. why did you apply if you don't fly up?" she asked, "you have to save your teammates, or aim for others, no matter how high!"

Oliver grinned, "Don't fuss. I know what you meant." He knew enough that she was an absolute Quidditch fan so he need not worry about any reason other than her passion for Quidditch urging her to join. "What?" he asked defensively, "Hey, if you can do it then I can do it. The rush of the moment will totally overcome my anxiousness. And if fails at times, your there to block it anyway. I'll just hone my skills, or the lack of, during practice. I swear I'll work my arse off."

"You better!" Arya exclaimed staring at Oliver, almost glaring at him, "because I don't want you to fall and nearly kill yourself! It takes two for beaters," Arya pouted, "just remember, try to take out the seeker, if you can. I think that would be the number one aim," Arya said, more relaxed than she did a couple seconds ago.
