Pig tapped on the window next to Amira's bed, she flicked her wand to open the window and took the letter from the cute owl,"Well hello, thanks", she wrote a reply,"Here you go, back to the ginger kay?"

Charlotte rolled over, unable to sleep. She saw in the faint light from the moon that Amira was awake, "Hey," she said, "You still up?"

Amira jumped slightly when she heard someone speak,"Oh, hey, yeah. Sleep's evading you as well?", she asked with a small smile.

"Just a bit," Charlotte said. "You mind if I open the window?" she asked, craving some fresh air.

Seeing Pig outside her window again she opened the window and had it stay open,"Not at all", she replied to the other girl.. She wrote a reply and sent it back, giving the owl a bit of encouragement.

Charlotte went to sit on the window ledge, being careful to leave room for the owl to come in and out. "So, how's life?" she asked Amira.

She shrugged,"There's room for improvement but it's going well. What about you?"

"Nothing too exciting," Charlotte said, "Losing my journal was probably the most exciting thing that's happened to me. I mean, there's the whole 'new school' thing, but I've pretty much gotten over that."

"It's strange isn't it? We live in such an insane place with moving staircases and hidden passageways, which remind me I have to show you around, and all the students are bored. We have to make something exciting soon. Ignore my ranting, happy to be reunited with your confidante?", she asked. The owl flew in agian and Amira let it rest a bit before sending another letter.

"Maybe I just haven't found the exciting parts yet. I mean, I do seem to get lost in the strangest of places. The other day I was up on the 7th floor, and there was a bathroom, which I needed desperately, but then the next day it was gone!" Charlotte was amazed. "And yes, I am very happy to have it back."

"That", she said,"Is the Room of Requirement, it's basically anything you want it to be."

"What is it?" Charlotte asked, having never heard of what Amira was talking about.

"The room on the seventh floor is basically a place that changes into anything one needs it to be. It could be a hiding pot, a rest area, a bathroom, whatever."
