Ron looks at the time and closes his book. It was time to head out for breakfast. He wonders where's Harry,today. He then proceed to the great hall.

Ron enters the common room in a huff. He was pissed off! He was so distracted that he couldn't care less being rude to the Fat Lady. But then again,now that he thought about it,he was a little too rude. But that wasn't the point! The point is,he was mad at his stupid brother! Always finding a way to ruin his day! GREAT! He frowned and then,he sat down and opens a book.

Percy wasn't far behind. "Would you listen to me!?" He kept his voice steady. "Before you decided to storm off I had actually apologized even though I am right." He crossed his arms before sitting down. "I said I'm sorry if I seem a bit out of line but since I got...some news from home..." He frowned. "I'm not supposed to tell the rest of you because Mum's worried you'll worry and the twins will act rashly and Ginny will worry." He sighed. "Dad's gotten ill. It's really bad. Not sure what it is yet but apparently he's got a nasty fever."

"Do you always have to ruin my day,Perce?" Ron grumbles angrily. He then,upon hearing that his dad was ill,said,"WAIT! WHAT?! Dad's ill?! How come you're only telling me now? How is he? Where is he right now?"

"Quiet down!" Percy handed over the letter he'd been pouring over the other day in the common room. "Like I told you, mum wanted me to keep it quiet for now but I figured it was best if I explained my tense mood." He looked around. "He's been taken to St. Mungo's for the time being and they're trying to sort out what he's got. Once they know Mum said she'd owl me." He looked around again. "And now Mum's all in a worry over this Skeeter article because she knows that the woman's talking about our family and it's just gotten stressful." He shook his head.

Ron quieten down his voice. "I'm really sorry,Perce. I didn't know. I wish you told me." He looks at the letter. "I hope that dad's okay,though. Plus,I hate that skeeter cow. She's horrible,perce!" He exclaimed.

He nodded. "Mum's worried that it's going to cause more problems. And with dad in the hospital they're getting very minimal income currently. I've been trying to find a way to get them some money but it's difficult."

Ron nodded in agreement. "Yeah,I know. That's why I've been improvising and all. Bet Fred & George could help with the income. They could sell their joke things." He said. "I'm really sorry,Perce. I didn't meant to get mad at you." He added quietly.

"It's fine Ron. I was thinking of asking them but I don't really want to let them know what's going on." He explained. "Maybe I should though. We'd just have to keep it from Ginny." He nodded. "I don't want her worrying about this."

Ron nodded. "Yeah,you should ask them. I know it's rule breaking,what with the things and all. But,I mean if it could help us. Why not?" He sighs. "I know,I don't want Ginny knowing and worrying much about this. We just have to keep from her,for a while."

He nodded. "Now you understand why I've been jumping down students' throats recently though." He sighed before looking to the clock. "You're really late for Herbology." He stood. "Honestly. It's ten-fourty."

"Yes,yes. I understand. And I'm not going to let you jump on my throat right now." Ron stood up. "I'm going,now. See you later,Perce. And oh,if there's any news,do tell me okay?" He slings his bag on his shoulder and then walk out of the common room.

Ron walks into the common room,glad that classes are over. But,his stomach started to growl and he realised that he hadn't had his dinner,yet. He better get a quick bite before the curfew starts. He then proceed out of the commons to the great hall.

Ron strolls into the common room,whistling and practically skipping. He was feeling happy for no reason at all. He just felt like it. He smiles. He then,sat down at the couch,opens his book and started to read.
