Ron walked into the common room through the portrait after thanking the Fat Lady who was fortunately,in a good mood. He saw Hermione sitting down and staring at the fire. "Mione," He greeted her and sat down beside her.

Seeing to that Hermione didn't answer him,he sighed and went on to sit on the couch. He sling off his bag and taking out notes and quills,inks to start on Professor Lupin's and Professor Sinastra's essay diligently,of which he hadn't done in a few years.

Ron didn't looked up from his essay but said,"What is it,Mione?" He asked but was still working on his assignment,scribbling and erasing when there's necessary.

Ron put down his ink and finally looked up and sighed deeply. "Really,Hermione?" He said sarcastically. "You know better than to believe that," He told her. "So,tell me.. Who are those girls that I liked,huh?"

Hermione's eyes prickled. She was just trying to have an honest conversation about her fears and he was making her feel like an idiot. "It doesn't matter. You should be treating my fears with respect instead of making fun of me."

"I'm not making fun of you,Hermione Granger." Ron stated. "This is about me too. Have you ever thought about that before you assumed that I liked other girls?" He asked,looking at her intensely. "Why do you choose to believe all those anonymous owls instead of me? Why?" He implied.

She glared at him. He was a jerk. "Maybe because I don't do relationships. Maybe because I'm too self conscious and don't have the self confidence that you do. Maybe because I hadn't realized that you'd been in relationships before. Maybe because I was told that you two never actually broke up and I'm just a substitute. I am no one's substitute, Ron."

Ron's anger was brewing in him. Whoever,these girls were,it was not fun to have them wreck over his relationship with Hermione. "What self confidence? Have you ever seen me? You known me for five years,Hermione Granger." He stated. "You should know more than me,what type of self confidence I have." He said. "And I never been in a relationship! What? Lavender? That was nothing,she was annoying anyways!" He exclaimed. "Who? What relationship then,Hermione? Tell me. Tell me exactly what the letters said."

"What,Blair?" Ron said as a matter-of-factly. "Like you stated,we never see her anymore. So,you got my answer,Hermione Granger." He said. "Plus,I have never been in a relationship with her. You can ask Lily that. Lily's her best friend. Yes,I admit she may have liked me.. But,that was before you and I happened and I never betrayed you,or cheated on you." He simply said. "And I repeat,I was not in a relationship with her. We just hung out. So,tell me.. How do we actually not break up when we wasn't in a relationship in the first place?" He sighed heavily.

Ron sighed. "I don't really want to lie to you,Hermione." He said weakly. "And you know,I don't lie to you about these things if we want to make this work." He told her. "She kissed me. Once. That was all. Just that night." He said.
