[Nyssa Pond]

"That makes one of us," Nyssa chuckled pushing her books away

[Jake Crawley]

"You don't have to stop, I can entertain myself while you read," Jake said.

Jake looked at the time. "I am going to go get my detention over with now so I can see you later," he said packing up and getting up. "See ya!" He kissed her cheek and walked out.

[Nyssa Pond]

"Alright," Nyssa said. "I'll probably still be here." She went back to reading taking advantage of her freed hand to write some more notes.

[Jake Crawley]

Jake came back to the library with his sketchpad. His head was still damp from his shower and he was out of his robes and into his uniform pants and a nice shirt. "Did you miss me?" he asked sitting back down next to Nyssa.

[Nyssa Pond]

"Of course I did," Nyssa said with a smile. "How was detention?"

[Jake Crawley]

"Everything is all shiny and just like new... well as new as three hundred year old things can be," Jake said laughing.

[Nyssa Pond]

"Good," Nyssa said. She rubbed her forehead tired from working.

[Jake Crawley]

"Need to take a break? Don't work too hard" Jake asked rubbing her back and laughing at himself. "I don't know why I even bothered to tell you that."

[Nyssa Pond]

Nyssa leaned back from the table. "I have to work hard at this," she said hitting her transfiguration text book lightly.

[Jake Crawley]

Jake nodded in understanding. "I know you do but you can take a break and I can always help you," he said.

[Nyssa Pond]

Nyssa shut the book deciding to take a break. "No more being a Ravenclaw tonight."

[Jake Crawley]

"I never thought I'd hear you say that," Jake teased.

[Nyssa Pond]

Nyssa laughed. "I'm not good at Transfiguration so taking a break from it is easier than the others."

[Jake Crawley]

"Loads of people have trouble with it, it's not an easy class," Jake said.
