When Lydia heard Theo she smiled and looked up from her book. "Hello love." She kissed his cheek and tilted her head. "How do you feel?"

"I did for the first time in a month." She shifted and set her book down. "Ready to go back to the dorms then?"

She laughed and nodded, getting up and walking to the nurse's office. She returned after a few moments before nodding. "She's going to come have a look and then we can go. She was reluctant though."

"You don't say. I never would have ever guessed that." He laughed pulling her down to kiss her hopefully before Pomfrey came in.

She kissed back and smiled, nodding. "Of course." She laughed slightly.

"I'm glad I can still make you laugh." He smiled trying to tickle her side. Just then Madame Pomfrey walked in looking at the pair. "Mr. Nott I hear you believe you are well enough to leave my infirmary." "I do." He nodded. She looked him over again moving to wave her wands in front of him.

Lydia laughed as she was tickled before watching the nurse holding the hope that Theo would be let go.

Theo gave the nurse a hopeful smile as she examined him. "I promise to stay in bed." Pomfrey scrutinized his face before she poked him in the stomach to test him. "Did that hurt Mr. Nott?" Theo's stomach felt like it was on fire but having a great deal of experience hiding these things he showed no emotion, or so he hoped. "It tingles but doesn't hurt." He knew better than to say he was fully healed.
The nurse frowned knowing it couldn't possible be at that stage yet. Regrowing skin was serious business and he had a great deal to grow from his massive injuries. "I will allow you to leave on a few conditions. You must come to the hospital wing once a day for me to check you bandages and give you knew potions. You are not allowed any physical activities nor are you allowed to attend classes yet. Ms. Evans I am going to hold you responsible for him and you are going to need to make sure he follows my orders exactly."

Lydia nodded and gathered up her things before looking to Theo. "I'll take care of him. But, what about the tournament. I'm sure he's going to have to participate in that soon. What do you suggest? Is there any way he'll be able to?"

Pomfrey blinked at the question forgetting all about that ridiculous tournament. "Perhaps if Mr. Nott wants to partcipate he should remain here under my care."
Theo's eyes widened and he looked over at Lydia wondering why she was bringing things up when he was nearly free. "I-I..."

Lydia blinked. "I'm sure he'll recover just fine. The next date hasn't been released yet so maybe he'll have enough time." She looked to Theo. "Maybe you can talk to him and see if he'll consider putting it off. I'm sure he wants to be fair to all the participants."

Theo nodded. "Right I can talk to the Headmaster. Which means you'd have to let me out." He was hoping that his reasoning would work. "I promise to rest. I am very lazy ask Lydia. I will stay in bed all the time."
Pomfrey looked between the two and decided she didn't want to put up with them for an extended period of time and nodded her head. "You may leave but I will see you hear every day to check your progress."

Lydia smiled and nodded. "Thank you Madam Pomfrey. I'll make sure he gets here for his checkups." She reassured before offering to help Theo up.
