Nyssa had been waking up and falling back asleep all day not wanting to disturb Jake. She now laid there watching him sleep worried as always.

Jake opened his eyes slowly, not knowing where he was. He didn't remember going to bed or even leaving the lake for that matter. It was bright, too bight, and he closed his eyes again before opening them minutes later. A pain in this head made him groan, "It hurts."

Nyssa turned to look at him. "I'm sorry, Jake," she said. "Do you want me to get you anything? Glad you're awake by the way."

Jake turned his head to see Nyssa thinking he might as well have a little fun since he was there. "W-who are you again?" he asked with wide eyes.

Jake smiled hoping she wouldn't kill him, but if she got violent at least he was already in the best place to get patched back up. "Only kidding Nyssa, trying to lighten the mood," he said.
