"We shouldn't have to suffer due to the lack of intelligence." Hermione's scowl deepened.

"Some professors don't have a problem with teaching the more advanced. Wait until next year when all the idiots are weeded out by OWLs." He explained.

Hermione nodded, "OWLS. The fact that they are at the end of this year is scary."

"What in Merlin's knickers do you have to worry about?" He rolled his eyes at her.

Hermione shrugged, "I always get nervous about examines. No matter how much you study, you can never prepare for a slip up or a freeze when you need your brain the most."

"Says the girl on top of her year." He yawned. "If you were any more of a book worm I'd say you were a half breed."

Hermione stood, "You must be tired. You have feces and garbage flowing from your mouth." She turned and paused at the curtains, "Just you wait. All the purebloods have inbred to the point where nearly half of all born are squibs. Or did you notice that for the most part pure bloods belong to one house, so one third of this student population. Your bigotry and racism will prove your doom. Good night Nott." She left.

Theo watched her walked away. It took him a few minutes to figure out what she just said. He didn't mean it the way she took it. He was referring to her being a bookworm half breed as a joke. He didn't even have the chance to get to argue back that there were other purebloods in all the other houses as well. That her little friend was in fact a pureblood and just as equally as inbred as he was. Theo looked up not tired at all.

Theo looked over to his bedside table where there was a small pile of letters. He reached over grabbing them to skim through wondering if there would be one from his father. Surprisingly there were three which worried him greatly. Theo supposed there weren't a lot of people that would hate getting mail from home but he always did because it was never good news. Not ever. Debating on if he should open them he shuffled through them again noticing they were dated. At least they are howlers. He would have set the place on fire. He would have liked that.
Theo opened the first letter hoping it didn't contain something like Draco had gotten once. He gave it a minute but nothing happened so he read on. It wasn't pleasant but at least now he knew why he was in the hospital wing. The next two letters were much of the same. Theo wondered if the Headmaster would let him take up a residence in the castle since he knew his father would never come on the grounds. Theo carefully sealed the letters back up and returned them to the table. Looking around again he wondered where his wand was. It was no where in sight and that made him uneasy. He was also starting to worry about Lydia and suddenly panic when he thought something might have happened to her when he was injured. Pulling himself up with great difficulty and pain he sat fully up trying not to make any noise as he attempted to get out of bed thinking Lydia might be in one of the beds in the wing as well.

Suddenly the curtain sprang open and a very angry looking Madame Pomfrey stood there looking at him. "What exactly do you thing you are doing Mr. Nott?" Theo didn't have time to deal with her nonsense as he continued to get up even though his skin was burning. "Oh no you don't!" The nurse waved her wand and Theo felt himself being pushed back and his legs pushed tightly against the bed. The old bat had bound him to the bed.
"I have to get up. I have to see Lydia. Do you know where she is?" He looked at her almost panicked as his mind played games convincing him he had done something to her.
"Ms. Evans is not here at the moment but I must say she has been here almost constantly." With that answer Theo let out a breath he was holding and sank his head into the pillows. "Mr. Nott I will not have all my hard work ruined. You have been growing back your skin quite nicely for the past few weeks and I expect things to continue that way. Until you learn to behave yourself I will use any force necessary to keep you in that bed. Have I made myself clear?" The woman gave him a stern look as she waited for her answer.
"Yes." He nodded. "I'm going to sleep now." He closed his eyes waiting for her to leave. Pomfrey looked him over waving her wand a few times and he felt a cooling sensation travel along his body helping his pain. He relaxed completely and with that the nurse left. Theo opened his eyes again staring up once more.

Theo woke up from another Pomfrey induced nap. He looked around to see that the curtains were shut again before resting his head back down. He was bored out of his mind.

Amira came into the hospital wing to ask Madame Pomfrey about her headache, she saw Theodore and waved.

(I'm going to pretend we can see through the before mentioned closed curtains)
Theo raised his head nodding back at Amira wondering what was wrong with her.

(Oops, I need to learn to read, ugh) After taking some medicine that Pomfrey gave her, she walked over to Theo,"Er, hello."

(I'll forgive you this once) Theo looked over glad to have some company. "Hello. How are things in the outside world?" He smiled.
