Gavin wanted to lay down. He took off his shoes and positioned himself on the bed properly but did not lie down. "You really do need to eat, Nyssa," Gavin whispered, "you had me nervous back in the common room..."

Ron brought Hermione over to Madame Pomfrey. "What happened to her?" She fussed. "Tell Madame Pomfrey,Hermione." Ron said as he looked at Hermione.

"It's nothing really, I just was working on some spellwork and burned my hands." She held up her hands, "Look, the bubbling is already gone, no pus, it's just a little red and stiff. I'm fine."

Ron shook his head at Hermione. "Still,you need to get it treated,Hermione." He said. Ron turned as he heard a voice that sounds familiar. "Nyssa! What are you doing here? Are you sick?" Ron asked,looking over to her and then to Gavin who was next to her.

"Now I have to keep an eye on you to make sure you are eating," Gavin said as he closed his eyes. He took the hair band out of Nyssa's hair so he could play with her long hair.

"I'm fine, Ron," Nyssa said attempting to sit up but settled for lifting her head. "Not eating just caught up with me." She turned to Gavin, "Sorry," she said again with a sheepish look on her face. She looked away from him not just because she felt badly about worrying him but also so he could play with her hair more easily.

"I told you to eat,Nyssa. And not worry too much. See where it landed you again." Ron tried to make a joke. "And it's your birthday,tomorrow." He sighed and shook his head. "Hermione..?" Ron called out. "Get your hand fixed,alright."

Hermione received an extremely cold compress to keep on her hands and moved to sit down on a bed. She nodded her thanks as Madame Pomfrey gave her some salve to work into her hands, but was hesitant to do it herself. "Working on it, Ron." She sighed in frustration. "Harry," She blushed out of embarrassment as she felt incapable of doing this herself, "Would you help me rub it in? I don't want to move my hands."
