"I... Is this... Are you sure..." Kiba mumbled. He let go of Arya completely and turned to look out at the sky. He scratched his head and let the cool air rush over him. "Are you sure this is okay?" he finally asked Arya without turning to look at her.

Arya gave Kiba a confused look, "what do you mean this is okay?" Arya asked Kiba, holding her hand to her heart. Arya was confused- why was he acting like that? "Well, we might be of two different completely houses and could possibly be socially acceptable and if you have a problem with that I completely understand!" Arya exclaimed, then remembered her blood status. She remember the lied she told him and how she promised Cedric that she would tell him the truth. She couldn't lie to him... she was lying to two people she both cared about. "I- no. This isn't okay," Arya's eyes started to tear up. She opened her mouth and started to stutter, not having the confidence to admit the truth. She moved closer to Kiba and looked at the ground, tears dropping from her eyes and snot dripping from her nose, afraid of his reaction, "I'm not a pureblood..." she started, "I'm only half," her voice went high pitched and she covered her face and buried her face into Kiba's chest. "Please Kiba- if you are who I think you are, who I know you are- you wont let that change anything!" she muffled, her eyes looking up to him.

Kiba felt dizzy. The world seemed to be spinning around him. He hung his head, squeezed his eyes shut, and shook his head back and forth wishing it weren't true. She lied. She lied. SHE LIED. The words repeated themselves again and again in his head. Nothing seemed real. He felt numb and Arya's pleas fell on deaf ears. A Halfblood? There was no way this would work for Kiba. His arms hung limp at his sides despite his hands being clenched into fists. Slytherins were much too proud of their blood status. He backed away and lightly pushed Arya. "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME!" he shouted angrily. His body was rigid. Kiba finally looked at Arya. Tears had begun welling up in his eyes. "I apparently didn't know anything about you," Kiba said coldly, caustically spitting out the last word. With that, he turned and walked away from Arya without looking back. One step at a time, Kiba made his way back towards the Slytherin common room.

"Kiba! Kiba!" Arya tried to hold back tears when Kiba pushed her. She couldn't speak and she watched Kiba run. Cedric was right... he... he wasn't worth it. Arya turned around, not watching Kiba leave. She rested her back on the large pillar and dragged herself down and laid down on the floor. She silently sobbed and covered her face. Arya wished Cedric was with her. He always knew the right things to say. He didn't care about her background- but Arya still lied to Kiba. But only to protect him, or even have a chance to talk to Kiba let alone form a relationship. Arya could not get Kiba's yells out of her mind. He was a dumb Slytherin and a stupid boy. She deserved so much better, and the two weren't even dating. Arya rolled to her back and looked at the night sky, wishing for a shooting star.

Ron climb the stairs to the tower and didn't encounter any students while he strode down the halls. He came up to the tower and inhaled the cool breeze. It was always peaceful up here. He turned his head and saw a girl laying on her back on the floor. "I'm sorry,Miss. I didn't know anyone was up here. I was doing my night patrolling." He explained. "Are you alright,Miss?" He asked with a concerned look in his face and looking at the girl to catch a glance that she had been crying.

"I'm- I'm sorry," Arya stood up, the blood rushed to her head and she held her head and wiped away tears. She sniffled and took deep breaths to face Ron. "I'm not okay, but I'll be okay," Arya said and rubbed her eye lids. "I'm just... taking the punishment for lying and he was no good Slytherin anyways," Arya tried to laugh her sadness off but it wouldn't work. She did care for Kiba and it was hard to put Kiba's outburst to the Kiba she knew and the once she shared the embrace with.

Ron gave her a sympathetic smile. "I don't believe we've met,Miss." He said simply. "I'm Ron Weasley. You're?" He asked. "Ahh,Miss. Slytherins. I never meant to always talk ill about them or either but the snakes..." He paused for a moment before saying,"Are all the same,Miss." He then sighed heavily to himself. "Is he.. I mean,is the snake your boyfriend?"

"Arya Rith," Arya sat up straight and looked at Ron. He was a cheery boy and his presence made her feel better. "I used to think that Slytherins could be different..." Arya's voice went quiet and her eyes darted to the side. She shook her head and her eyes started to water again but she held back tears. "He wasn't my boyfriend- I don't know what we were, but I thought we had something," Arya let out a deep sigh to calm herself down. She stretched her arms and smiled at Ron in hopes to make herself feel better.

Ron nodded at her prudently. "Nice to meet you,Miss Rith." He said politely to her. "I understand you,Miss Rith. I used to like a Slytherin girl too and thought that she would be different but I guess...." He shrugged a little. "They're all the same.." He sighed and looked up to the night sky where the beautiful stars were. "Don't cry,Miss Rith. I'm sure he wasn't worth of your time. You're a pretty,nice girl.. I'm sure that others would be exceptionally delighted to have you as their someone special,Miss Rith." He gave her a wide smile,hoping that it will smile away her tears.

"You don't need to call me Miss Rith," Arya said to Ron and looked up at the night sky when he did. "I'm sorry about the girl you liked- they... I don't know. I don't want to say anything bad because I still care about Kiba but I'm not giving any hope," Arya said and put her hands on her lap. When Ron lightly described her Arya blushed at his compliments, "thank you Ron... that is very kind of you," she said and avoided eye contact with him and her eyes met his and she flashed him another smile. "That means a lot to me, and I think the same for you- I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would appreciate and love to be with you."

"Alright then,Miss Arya." Ron smiled warmly at her. "It's alright now. Although how bitter it was,right now,we've already on better terms,I suppose?" He said with a shrug. "If you think that he is worth it,the pursue him and give him time,Miss Arya. I'm sure he'll come around. Snakes are all about pureblood statuses which I don't quite understand,truly." He heaved a sigh. "Thank you,Miss Arya.. That's very kind of you too." He said and then straightening his robes that were already crinkled,"I'm going for my patrol on the other parts of the castle now,Miss Arya. But it was nice meeting you and I hope you feel better soon. And do get back safely to your own tower. Don't get back so late,Miss Arya." Ron smiled radiantly at her before bowing a little and climb down the stairs from the tower and left.

Arya nodded and pulled herself up, "thank you Ki- Ron," Arya corrected herself. "I'll be on my way now," she said and waited for Ron to leave before she went down the stairs to go her common room. She knew of a tunnel that led to the common room that was by the astronomy tower. Arya went through the tunnel, knowing where it would lead her. It was the badger inside her.

Cho made her way up to the Astronomy Tower to take a brake. She escaped from her friends and everyone else, happy to be alone for the time being.

Lily made her way up to the astronomy tower and after putting on her coat. It was a cold night and she needed a time off from the common room from her thoughts and just escape. She sat down on the ledge like how Jake used to.
