Amber walked to the top of the Astronomy Tower and looked around to notice David wasn't there yet. She walked over to the railings and leaned against them as she usually did and waited

Amber jumped a little when she heard David's voice and looked around "Where are you?" she asked after not seeing him beside or behind her even though it sounded as if he was directy beside her

Amber laughed "Much. I actually think, that you scared me so much that my heart stopped for a minute" she said said with another laugh "So, how have you been?"

Amber sighed and nodded "So anything exciting going on in Ravenclaw?" she asked with a laugh "Besides the love triangle that everyone is talking about"

"Really? Everyone's talking about it?" David asked, "It seems it's the only thing that we have going on at the moment, and it's not even that interesting," David said, "Actually it, well, Gavin specifically, is pissing a lot of us off. Tension is running high at the moment, I suppose."

David sighed and crossed his arms. He closed his eyes and said, "I just don't know what's going on with Gavin. I mean, maybe it's just that I only started to get to know him within the past month, and the way he's acting is normal for him... but it's so destructive. To all of us, but a select few more than others," David said, thinking of Nyssa, Jake, and Effy specifically. "I feel like he cries more than he breathes." David opened his eyes and looked at Amber, "I don't want to get you down with all of this, though."

Amber put her hand on his shoulder "Trust me, I have no problem listening to what you have to say. How many times have I vented to you?" she asked with a laugh "But I think he seems to be acting different recently though. I don't know what it is, but something is very different about him"
