Jake moved and laid on his stomach looking up at her. "I once got in a muggle duel. I'm awful at those, let me tell you," Jake said. "I have to go to Herbology soon, or should I skive off and entertain you?"

"You're talking to a Ravenclaw," Nyssa said looking down at him. "What do you think I'm going to tell you to do? Why did you get in a muggle duel?" She was amused by the term.

"Not everyone thinks the same things. I've seen Luna wandering about and not in classes," Jake said. "This bloke, he left a few years ago, didn't seem to like me too much. I have a habit for trying to get in the last word and mouthing off. Being a muggleborn he attacked me and I lost my head and tried to have a go at him." Jake finished his story with a shrug. "Went to the hospital with a broken nose."
