Draco had gone to eat lunch and found no one he knew well present at his table. He came up to the tower, unable to find Pansy, Freya or some male company like Theo or Griffin, and run a hand through his hair. Two days until the ball, he hadn't gotten anymore letters from home, his life was becoming less hectic than it had gotten for a while. He'd miss it.

Pansy walked up to the top of the tower and sat down looking over the grounds and taking in the view. She didn't really know where else to go so she had gone to the tower hoping the view would cheer her up.

Pansy watched the sun set and decided she should probably head back. Picking herself up off the ground she started down the stairs of the tower.

David and Amira stepped up to the top of the tower, "Wow, " David said, looking up at the sky.

David smiled and wrapped his arm around Amira's shoulders. "I love it up here."

Pansy made her way to the top of the tower and looked up at the stars. She leaned back against the wall and slid down, taking a seat so she could enjoy the view of the stars.

The wind began to blow causing Pansy to shiver and wrap her arms around herself. She sighed, thinking she could stay up here all night if given the chance. Eventually she stood and left to carryon with her patrol.

Once again making her way to the Astronomy Tower Pansy looked up at the sky and smiled. She bought her telescope with her and pulled it out to look at the stars.

Pansy continued to look at the stars but was startled when she heard a hoot coming from her left. "Hello there." She smiled at the owl and took the letter attached to its leg. She opened it quickly and began to read the message. "No. No. No. No." She felt her stomach drop out and clutched the letter tightly. The owl gave another hoot and took off into the night leaving Pansy at the top of the tower staring into the night and fighting off tears.

David and Amira emerged at the top of the Astronomy Tower. He could see his breath in the air, and snow was falling around them.

Amira reached out to touch a snowflake and grinned,"This place is awesome."

"Yeah, it really is." David bent down to tie his shoe, collecting a bit of snow while he was down there. He stood up and gently tossed the snow at Amira's shoulder.

Amira flinched when she felt something cold hit her back, she turned around and laughed,"I'm so getting you back for that", she scooped up some snow and aimed for his shoulder.

David ducked as she threw the snow. He straightened himself, laughing. "Too slow!"
