"Why is it that I'm not convinced?" Nyssa teased. "No wonder you look tired. You must have been worrying all night. Don't know why you should be worried but people don't always need reasons to worry."

[Jake Crawley]

Jake laughed. "You gave me your worrying illness. I blame you."

[Nyssa Pond]

"Everything is my fault, it is good to know you are catching on," Nyssa said with a laugh. "Why were you worried though?"

[Jake Crawley]

"I thought you'd freak out," Jake said.

[Nyssa Pond]

"Why would I freak out?" Nyssa said with a hint of a laugh in her voice. "You threw me off a bit I will say that. I wasn't expecting it at all but I didn't freak out."

"Because in my experience you over think and freak out about everything," Jake said.

[Nyssa Pond]

"True," Nyssa said with a small smile. "I don't know why I didn't freak out now that you think of it. Strange... Must be that I didn't mind it."

Jake smiled brightly and kissed her again. "Good."

"Was this another topic of discussion in Gryffindor?" Nyssa asked in a joking tone.

"No, I haven't talked to anyone about it," Jake said.

[Nyssa Pond]

"Well that's surprising," Nyssa laughed brushing Jake's hair away from his face again.

"I don't tell everyone everything," Jake said. "Well except you."

[Nyssa Pond]

"If you've told me everything you've led quite the boring life," Nyssa said with a smile as she rested her head on his shoulder again.

"I have. I meant I tell you everything as it comes up," Jake said.

"Right," Nyssa said wanting to test this. "So how is your father?" she asked realizing he hadn't spoken about him in a long while. "You've told me about how your mother is doing but not your dad."
