"It's my birthday." Lily said smiling. She sat down and took out an ornament for Nyssa. "Here,it is for you." It's a bear with a heart shape that has the letter LOVE." She put down her bag and the other big bag next to her and took a toast and start nibbling.

"You are welcome,Nyssa." Lily said. "Not really. Just maybe kidnap Jake and spend time with him." She laughed. "My father's traveling at the moment but his package arrived yesterday for me. So,that's about it. My dull birthday." She said and laugh again. "How are you this morning?"

"Next Monday," Nyssa answered. "I've just got a lot of thinking to do and haven't quite recovered from quite possibly one of the worst Mother's Days ever."

"Wow. So,our birthday's in the same month,huh?" Lily said with a smile. Her face then fell at the mention of mothers. "Well,tell me about it. I tried so hard to forget about Mother's day and I could not." She sigh. "What happened?"

"Well," Nyssa took a deep breath before diving into the story. "My 'mother' passed away recently so it was rough. It didn't help that Gavin exploded at Jake in the Three Broomsticks. Wasn't really the way I was expecting to find out he considered me his girlfriend." Nyssa chuckled a bit uncomfortably.

"I don't think I'll ever get used to it," Nyssa said rolling her eyes. Nyssa had always been awkward and uninteresting but she had recently come into her own and was getting a lot more attention than she had anticipated.

Lily laughed. "Don't fret yourself over boys. It only make us worry more and it's just plain maddening." She wipe her mouth with a napkin. "Okay,I got to go for my class before I'm late." She said. She took a box of pastries from her big bag and gave it to Nyssa. "Here,for you. My dad gave me a lot. As if I could finish it all. I owl Ron a few,though. That boy can finish everything." She giggles. She got up and said,"Nice talking to you,Nyssa. If you ever need to talk or you know,just vent your anger towards boys,I'm the girl for ya!" She said with a laugh. "I see you around okay?" And Lily left the great hall to head for class.
